General Questions
What is Mint Condition?
Mint Condition is a comprehensive property management platform designed for owners and property managers. It streamlines tasks, reservations, invoicing, and calendar management – even if you don’t use a full‑scale Property Management System (PMS).
Who can use Mint Condition?
- Property Owners & Managers: Use Mint Condition to manage reservations, tasks, invoices, and more.
- Service Providers & Crew: Collaborate with your team by receiving task notifications and updates.
- Users without a PMS: Export iCal links to sync reservation data with external booking platforms like Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com.
What is an iCal file, and why would I need one?
An iCal file is a standardized calendar format (with the .ics
extension) that can be imported into other calendar systems. Mint Condition lets you export an iCal file of your property’s reservations so that you can automatically block off dates on external booking platforms, reducing the risk of double bookings.
Calendar & Reservation Sync
How do I view reservations for a specific property?
- Step 1: On the Calendar page, use the property dropdown to select a specific property.
- Step 2: Once a property is selected, reservations for that property will appear alongside tasks.
- Note: If you choose “All Properties,” only tasks are displayed.
My calendar isn’t showing reservations – what should I do?
- Check Property Selection: Make sure you have selected a single property from the dropdown.
- Permissions: Ensure your account has the correct permissions (property manager or owner) for that property.
- Sync Status: Verify that recent synchronizations have completed successfully (check the Synchronizations page for any errors).
Why do I need to export an iCal file?
Exporting an iCal file allows you to import your property’s reservations into platforms like Airbnb, Vrbo, or Booking.com. This helps to automatically block off dates that are already reserved in Mint Condition, preventing double bookings.
Exporting iCal
How do I export an iCal file?
- Select a Property: On the Calendar page, choose the property you wish to export.
- Click Export iCal: Once a property is selected, the Export iCal button will appear. Click it.

- Re‑Generate: If changes aren’t reflected, try closing and reopening the export modal.
- Check Channel Selections: Ensure the correct channels are selected, as the iCal export can be filtered to exclude reservations from specific channels.
Common Issues & Troubleshooting
Q: I’m not receiving the iCal file when I export. What could be wrong?
- Check Encrypted Parameters: Ensure the exported URL contains valid encrypted parameters.
- Server Errors: Look for error messages in your browser’s console or on the Synchronizations page.
